Environmentally Conscious: The Goodyear Tire “ReUz” rubber flooring tiles are protective flooring product made from recycled rubber materials. Recycled rubber primarily comes from discarded tires, which are ground into “tire crumb” and then adhered into a new, stronger product. Production of recycled rubber floors helps reduce the waste in landfills and incinerators to assist in reducing the overall carbon footprint. Recycled rubber products also have lower production costs than alternatives, making recycled products like the “ReUz” interlocking mats even more affordable.
Durable & Resilient Recycled rubber floors are incredibly durable, and they provide great protection for traditional floor types like hardwood or tile. These rubber flooring tiles are 6mm (just under 1/4″) thick, which is perfect for absorbing abrasions and heavy impacts. Movements such as these are absorbed by the thick rubber tiles to ensure that no harm comes to the sensitive sub-floors below. Recycled rubber also contains a high amount of EPDM rubber, which means that you can also install these interlocking mats outdoors. The rubber material resists sunlight, ozone, temperature, and moisture, allowing the rubber flooring tiles to withstand outdoor conditions year-round.
Modular Design: The greatest benefit of these rubber interlocking mats is their modular design. Shaped similarly to puzzle pieces, the “ReUz” rubber flooring tiles fit together like a giant jigsaw puzzle. This allows for simple and secure installations completely adhesive free.
