These coin-shaped protrusions on this thermoplastic rubber provide additional edges for shoe soles to grip onto, resulting in greatly enhanced traction and slip-resistance. For even more security a polyurethane-based adhesive can be used, but it is best to consult a product specialist before committing to strong adhesives.
